Off to Delaware!

Today Zach and I ventured off to Delaware to meet Christy and the kids half way. It has been a long time since we have all gotten together. It was such a great day...we have decided to make this a monthly outing, so I am pretty excited about that! The kids were so cute and Zach was such a little trooper!

Here are the kids sitting together in the back of my car. Kate is opening up her birthday gifts from me. Zach looks like such a big boy...just hanging out with the big kids! Look how interested he is in the presents!

Christy has already taught Connor well. Here he is vacuuming Pottery Barn Kids!

Zach had enough...he was pooped out!

It was such a fun day!

Bye Bye Bouncy :(

Oh...the tears! Zach will be 7 months old on Friday and I think it's about time I say good bye to his Bouncy seat! This is devastating for me because it simply means my little baby is growing up! Take a look...

Here is Zach on the day I brought him home from the hospital! We sat him in his bouncy seat while we ate dinner. He was 2 days old...

Now look at my monkey... 3 days before turning 7 months old. He is huge!

Yes...he is trying to sit up in the seat!

And yes...it is clearly time to say goodbye...

Go Green!

Today in Stroller Strides, my physical trainer asked all the moms to wear green. She also wanted us to dress the babies in green and have them bring in a special green toy! Well, I decided that Zach would bring in his green Nini! Nini is the Olympic Games mascot from China! Nini is special because it came all the way from China as a special gift to Zach from Uncle Lasse and Aunt Rachie. Zach also wore his green soccer shirt because Uncle Lasse is a great soccer player! So not only did we celebrate Green Day today...but we also celebrated Uncle Lasse and Aunt Rachie!

And here is Uncle Lasse and Aunt Rachie in China! Aunt Rachie didn't even know it...but she went Green also! I love you Uncle Lasse and Aunt Rachie! Thank you for my Nini!

Playdate with Loren!

Last night we had some good friends and family over. I use to watch Loren when she was 4 years old. Now she is a beautiful young lady...who loves my son! Wow how quickly time goes by!

Here are a couple of cute pics of them playing!

"I Love you Loren"

How sweet is that face!

I attached a couple more...scroll down!

Towson Represented!

Finally...I got some Towson gear to put on my child! He has so much Virgina Tech and Ravens stuff because of his father...but nothing Towson! So I took it upon myself to change that! Look how sweet he is in his "My First Towson T-Shirt" shirt!

He just got a new rainmaker, which he loves! Although here he is looking at his toy cookie jar.

I think Zachary is going to go from sitting to walking. He has never really rolled over and now that he can sit he wants nothing to do with laying down...and most recently...he doesn't even want to sit! He wants to be on those feet. So this should be interesting!

I thought this one was so cute. He kept closing his eyes because of the flash!

No means No!

And it begins! Little Zachary is going to give me a run for my money! He is already turning into a very busy boy! So yesterday I was feeding him his lunch...good ole veggies. He loves them...although there isn't much that he doesn't love! He recently has gotten into this new thing where he wants to scream...or should I say talk loudly! So while having lunch, he breaks into it. I am trying to feed him bites of food in the middle of his, shall we say...talking rages, when he discovers that he can spit the food! Yes...all over mommy veggies flew! He thought this was the most hysterical thing on the planet! I looked at him and very firmly said NO Zachary...he looked right back at me and busted out laughing...even harder! So naturally I too had to laugh...but I did turn my head so he couldn't see! So does No really mean No? It's going to be an adventure!

After getting all cleaned up, we decided to play! Look at my handsome little guy!

Happy Birthday Daddy!

Today we celebrated Chris' birthday! It was such a great day and weekend. On Saturday night we went out to dinner to one of his favorite restaurants...PF Changs! Then this morning we sang Happy Birthday to daddy on the phone. Zach and I ended up taking a balloon to Chris' work to surprise him. He was so excited and said that was the best birthday present ever. He was such a proud father. He walked him all around the office to show off his son. So Sweet! Then tonight Nona and Pop Pop came over along with Aunt Marcel and Uncle Jimmy. We all had dinner and ice cream cake. Zach got Chris a beautiful daddy picture frame that said Happy Birthday Daddy Love Zach and a couple of t-shirts from Banana Republic. I got Chris a Ravens ticket. Once we had Zach, we had to give up some of the fun things in life to save money. For Chris...one being Ravens tickets! So he was so surprised to see the ticket! His parents also gave him two tickets. So this season he gets to see 3 out of the 4 games he usually goes to.
So Happy Birthday Daddy!

Our little surprise trip to work to see daddy!
Zach celebrating daddy's birthday. Nona gave him a special hair style!
Zach with his Aunt Marcel! He was mesmerized with her, but he always has been! Aunt Marcel use to come over every Friday until she got her new job, and Zach has always bonded with her! He kept giving her all kinds of love tonight. It was the cutest thing!

Always Hungry!

A few months ago, my family went to Germany for my sister-in-laws wedding. Zachary's Aunt Teri came back with an adorable hat for him. Today when I was pulling out all of his fall clothes I came across the hat and I just had to have him model it!

Here he is...trying to eat his star!

Trying to pull it off!

The hat is still on!

Forget it! I'll just play with Ellie instead!

Swim Lessons ~ Take 2

So this morning Zachary had his second swim lesson! He did great! I was so proud of him. So now I am certain that last week he was just exhausted! He let me dunk him under and everything. He still looked at me like I was crazy and fussed a little when he came up...but that was it! He just chilled out in the water. I am hoping that I will drag someone along one time so they can actually take some pictures! Any Takers?

The night time seems to be getting a little better to. The past 2 nights we have let him "cry it out!" It's a nightmare...I swear! But, the past 2 nights he has only woken us up twice...so keep praying for us! Maybe it will continue to get better!

I'll try to post some photos later! My little munchie is snoozing right now!

Da Da Da Da Da!

Well...he's talking!!!!! This morning we went for my workout, and Zach decided he would like to talk. While strolling him around, he kept saying over and over again...Da Da Da Da Da! It is so cute. All the girls in my gym class thought it was the sweetest. We are working our butts off and Zach just kept singing us a tune of Da Da!
Of course his father could not be more thrilled with these new words...but we'll keep it a secret that Zach doesn't really know what he is saying yet :)
None the less...it is a new milestone! Hooray!

Here are a few pics of him driving his car this morning!

So Many Changes!

This has been such an exciting week. Zach has started reaching out his arms when I hold my arms out to take him. It is so cute. He gets so excited when I do it because he has now learned that I am going to pick him up or take him away from whoever is holding him. It is just the sweetest thing. And last night...he started giving kisses! Wide open mouth kisses...but kisses! He laughs when he does it. He is such a little flirt! He is also really starting to cuddle, especially when we are winding down for the night. I just love him so much!
Yesterday we had to go to his 6 month doctors appointment. He had to get shots, which is just devastating. I hate them! He weighs 20 pounds and is 28 inches long! He is a big boy!

I took a few cute pics of him this morning in his exersaucer, which he is just really starting to like. He is a Jumperoo Man!

A Fun Filled Day with Avery Jean!

Today was such a great day. Zachary and Avery spent a good part of the day together. They began their morning in their very first swim lesson. It was so cute. I don't have any great photos of that yet because I haven't figured out how to master using the camera while swimming. Maybe one day! Avery did such a great job! She loved the water and would get so excited when she went under. Zachary was a different story! He has always loved the water. He likes swimming in the pool and he loves his bath....but today was a different story. I think he was just exhausted because by the time the lesson began, he was already up for 3 hours. I could not get him to take a nap. When I put him under the water, he really didn't know what to do. He just looked at me like I was crazy! He started crying about half way through the lesson...and didn't stop. He fell asleep in the car before we even got out of the parking lot. So we will have to see how next week goes.

Then we went over to Avery's house for dinner and a playdate. The kids were so cute playing together. Avery is talking up a storm. She really is the cutest!

Ollie was very interested in Zach and Zach LOVED Ollie!

When Avery sees the camera...she strikes a pose! So Sweet!

The proud dads with the sweet babies!

When we left their house...Zach fell asleep in the car. He is now sleeping in his crib with his clothes on. Who knows what that means for tonight's sleep. Let's hope he doesn't think this is just a nap!

Thanks for such a fun playdate Avery!
