Ahh...The Sweet Memories!

Well, tomorrow we leave for our yearly beach trip! I am very nervous about this trip because of Zach's sleep issues. My prayer is that he will do well on this trip. He is now sleeping through the night and my hope is that this won't change. Last year, he did so great at the beach. He hated the outdoors so we always had to do the beach in the evening. I have a feeling that is going to be very different this year, because
Zach now loves being outside.

A new approach to bath time :)

Bath time continues to be a struggle in our home...so we busted out the baby tub and took a bath outside tonight! Zach of course loved it...but it was a lot of work for me :)

Zach and Max!

Last night we went over to Nona and Pop Pop's for a family dinner! Teri and the boys were in town so we went to play. Zach just loves Max and now that Zach is older, they are more into playing with each other. They were absolutely adorable together!

Precious Times!

There are certain moments in a child's life where a mother truly cherishes the moment...The pictures on my previous post with Zach playing in the water outside is certainly one of those big moments for me! Another is the moment I am posting now. There is nothing more precious than watching my son interact with other children. Watching him get excited when he sees other kids and wanting to be a part of things! Most importantly, being together as a family! Chris and I had one of those special moments last weekend when we took Zach to splash day at our church!

We all had so much fun!

It's NOT the water!

So...as many of you know...bath time has turned into a nightmare! As soon as we walk in the bathroom to put Zach in, the screaming begins! It does not stop until we have him bathed and he is out of the tub! Tonight while playing outside and watering the plants...Zach could not get enough of the water. It was so bad, that we had to take his clothes off. Before we knew it, we had to remove his diaper too! He was absolutely having a blast in the water. So clearly bath time is not about the water...he must be afraid of the tub itself!

Here is when the diaper had to go! I got so many amazing pics of him playing in his birthday suit...but I will have to save those for myself :)

Happy 4th of July!

WOW! How things have changed in a year! Last year on the 4th of July, Zach was 4 months old and very controllable...

Now, he is a busy boy on a mission!
