Outside Fun!

We got Zach a pool for the back yard and here he is...not really sure about it! Since he's not really loving the bath tub these days, I am sure this big whale was a bit much for him :-)

He would much rather be walking in the back yard! This is his new thing! Since learning to walk, all he wants to do is be outside walking :)

A Very Busy Week :)

Zach and I had so much fun last week! We got to enjoy lunch with my dear friend Michele and two of her children. Michele and I have been friends since high school and this is the first time I got to meet her girls! Zach and Cameron were so cute together!

Happy Father's Day!

Today was such an amazing Father's Day! We went to church and Zach made his first Father's Day craft and gave it to Chris after church was over. It was the sweetest thing ever. Then my dad, Chris, Zach and I all enjoyed a wonderful lunch together. In the evening, we headed over to Nona and Pop Pop's for an amazing dinner and good family fun! Zach of course was very busy walking all over the place. It was a great Father's Day! I took so many wonderful pictures, but here are a few of my favorites :)

Zach and I were FINALLY able to get out and swim today! The weather here has been so yucky with all the rain that it has certainly put a damper on pool days! But not today! I took Zach over to Aunt Rachie's for his first swim as a toddler. He loved it! Of course...only from the side of the pool!

Oh the memories....

On Monday, Zach and I had lunch with Aunt Marcel and Jordyn! It is so great to have them back in town because we missed them very much. After lunch, we came to our house for a play date and I busted out Zach's old exersaucer for Jordyn to play in. I almost teared up when I put her in. It reminded me so much of when Zach was that age and how now my baby is turning into a little boy :(

WALKING!

Yes...it has finally happened! Zach has begun to walk. He has been practicing all week with two steps here...three steps there...and then today...15 steps!!! I could not believe it! As he gets more comfortable he takes more steps. Even as I sit here and type this, Zach is in his crib walking back and forth. I guess this means a new journey begins...oh joy!
